Hana & Jonathan’s beautiful wedding day at Parklands, Quendon Hall was a perfect reminder that sometimes the most unforgettable moments come from the unexpected.

Their day began beneath glorious summer sunshine, with family and friends gathering for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony held in the Tabor Room — a meaningful and intimate moment honouring their heritage and loved ones. With clear blue skies throughout the morning, plans were set for a stunning outdoor civil ceremony making the most of the beautiful grounds at Parklands.

Then, just 30 minutes before the ceremony, the weather dramatically changed and a torrential summer downpour arrived. Our team quickly sprang into action, moving chairs indoors and transforming the ceremony space using our fairy light backdrop alongside the couple’s elegant floral displays.

Despite the sudden change of plans, the ceremony remained absolutely beautiful — filled with love, emotion and the warmth of everyone around them. As quickly as the rain arrived, it passed, and the rest of Hana & Jonathan’s day continued perfectly, with sunshine, laughter and celebrations carrying on long into the evening.
